In the PP’s regional convention, the new platform website 3.0 is launched, driven by the Vi-Clone virtual assistant.

At the Regional Convention, the Regional President accompanied by the Deputy Secretary of Communications for the PP, Esteban González Pons, will launch a new virtual assistant (Vi-Clone) that the party is adding to their website www.ppmadrid.es to help users browse. This virtual assistant, blessed with sound, answers peoples’ questions in relation to the content on the web page, and helps people understand the PPs initiatives in Madrid. They can find out how to become a member, the location of the seats, who the party’s representatives are, where the Citizen’s Advice Bureau is, and all the latest news.

The People’s Party (PP) in Madrid integrate the most important 2.0 tools in a way that allows users to give their opinion on all the latest news, all of their articles can be shared on networks, and citizens can publish their views. This website has been adapted for mobile phones (Iphone and Blackberry) and is connected by RSS with the websites of 50 seats that are updated automatically when www.ppmadrid.es is. From the website you can also access the blogosphere of PP in Madrid which has 65 author blogs and blogs about areas such as Immigration or Education.

ENCUENTRO DIGITAL

During the convention, the Regional President came to the PP Madrid's "stand 3.0" to host the I Tweets & Coffee, a digital meeting where Esperanza Aguirre, Esteban Pons and Ana Mato answered the messages and questions that people tweeted the PP. This I Tweets & Coffee is a continuation of the Blogs and Coffee that the PP Madrid hold with bloggers periodically.

The PP Madrid is the first party in Spain to organise meetings with independent bloggers, where they can openly debate with politicians. The first of these meetings took place last year with Esperanza Aguirre in attendance.
